ENDORSE: Nathan Hochman for District Attorney

We can debate whether criminal justice reform is a failed experiment in California. It’s often not the policies themselves that fail, but the LEADERSHIP in charge of executing these policies. George Gascon is an ineffective leader in the District Attorney’s office where his DAs struggle with the inability to prosecute crime.

In contrast, Nathan Hochman’s Blueprint for Justice does not throw criminal justice reform out the window, but instead implements policies in a way that restores trust in the DA’s office and protects its partnership with law enforcement. He protects victims over criminals while at the same time emphasizing treatment and CARE courts for those who struggle with mental illness and/or drug addiction. Nathan Hochman brings much needed balance and leadership back to the DA’s office.
